Hi and welcome to the STA family!  I will be your personal tour coordinator and look forward to planning an educational and fun trip for you and your students. 

My Tour Experience

I started in the educational tour industry in 1993 and have enjoyed it ever since! 

I have worked onsite with groups in Washington, DC, New York City, Philadelphia, Gettysburg, Williamsburg and Charlottesville. 

I am a Tour Coordinator but over the years I have also worked in the Marketing Department and Airline Department.

My Tour Philosphy

I believe the tour is a true collaboration between me and my clients.  My clients are my extended family.  As we talk during the planning phase of the tour I want to find out your vision for the trip and what you would like your group to experience.  Communication is key to planning a great trip!

I plan tours to Washington, DC and New York City and an occasional trip to Orlando or the West Coast.

Taking students on a tour is a great gift to them, because they learn about the history of our wonderful country.

Students will be inspired and motivated by traveling and make new friends while learning life skills. 

My Personal Background

I graduated with a BA in British Literature from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. I live in Houston, Texas and enjoy spending time with family and friends. 

I love to travel because of the adventure and opportunity to meet new people and experience new places and cultures.  I also enjoy reading about history and art and then actually go see what I have read about

I enjoy tropical island vacations and a highlight of one trip was snorkeling at the shipwreck Antilla.

I like to ride bikes on the trails near Houston and enjoy camping in the woods during the fall when we can have a campfire and spend the evening under the stars. 

I enjoy my job at School Tours of America, because of the great group of people I work with and my wonderful clients.

We have designed a brief but very important survey that allows our staff to know your more generalized tour expectations.

While I will work diligently with you to customize your tour, this survey is very helpful in knowing where to start and addresses some important tour preferences.
