Looking for new fundraising ideas to help your students raise money for their East Coast trip? School Tours of America has your back! STA has compiled a list of ideas to help you and your students get started raising money for their student travel experience. From restaurant chains and raffle drawings to selling the World's Finest Chocolates, here are just a few ideas on how to raise funds for your STA Trip.

Restaurant Chains:

Chipotle: Chipotle offers fundraising opportunities online and in-person for your groups to meet their fundraising goals. Be sure to submit your information on their website to learn more!

Applebee's: Applebee's offers fundraising options for field trips, with 25% of proceeds going towards your campaign. Click the link to go to their website and learn how.

Little Caesars: There are multiple offers for you to fundraise with Little Caesars – Learn more by clicking on the link!

Krispy Kreme Digital Dozen: Your group will decide on your price per dozen, then sell donuts. It's all 100% digital, so there isn't any going to pick it up or deliver. Plus, kids make 50% of the profits!

Those are just a few of the more popular restaurant chain fundraising events that some of our groups participate in!  Click here to read an article listing even more restaurants with fundraising opportunities that may be available in your area!

Product Sales:

Rada Cutlery: This is a catalog order in which students will receive a 40% profit on their sales. Rada is a small company that is easy to work with! [

World's Finest Chocolate: A popular chocolate company that offers a simple way for students to sell candy to raise funds for their trip.

Affy Tapple, Inc.: Home of 'Chicago's Original Caramel Apple' – They provide a fundraising kit to help you narrow down the target amount and reach your goal.

Double Good: This program is poppin'! Popcorn, that is! Download the app to add your team members who create their own pop-up stores for friends and family to help support your student tour. You can keep track of your team members and see live sales easily.

That's barely touching the surface of the thousands of companies that offer fundraising products. Click here to find a list of more than a dozen different fundraising websites.

Raffle Drawings:

Amazon Raffle: Take advantage of Amazon Prime Day! Purchase something from Amazon during the annual Prime Day sale, and have your students sell $5 raffle tickets (or any amount you choose) for a chance to win the item(s). Your students will receive 100% profit from it. It's optional to participate, and each participant would earn the amount from each ticket they sold.

Professional Sports Ticket Raffle or Event Ticket Raffle: It's the same idea as the Amazon Raffle, with 100% of the proceeds going toward their trip. Look for ticket donations from individuals or community organizations that want to help kids fundraise. Then, raffle off $5 tickets for a chance to win the event tickets.

Basket Raffle: Create themed baskets for people to donate items to, then auction off the grand prize.

***The fundraising opportunities outlined above are subject to availability, changes, or discontinuation, and may vary by location. Please check with individual retailers or service providers for specific terms and conditions. These offers are not endorsed or sponsored by School Tours of America.

In addition to these great fundraising options, STA has its own crowdfunding platform, MyTourFund. It works just like other crowdfunding platforms, giving students the option to create a MyTourFund profile page and share it with their family and friends to "donate" to their trip, with all donations going directly to their trip fund. MyTourFund.com participants raise an average of $900 toward their trip costs!

We are so excited you're interested in fundraising to help make your students' trip possible. We know it can be intimidating, so we hope to inspire you with some ideas to help get you & your students started! These are just a handful of the options we have heard from Group Leaders like you – there are so many others out there; the choices are endless.

We are here to help wherever we can. Please reach out to your STA representative with any questions. Your student travel experience is awaiting you... LET'S GO!
