Five Days/Four Nights: Explore Washingont DC and Philadelphia
Combine the nation's most powerful city with Philadelphia, the city of Brotherly Love is a thriving commercial, educational and and cultural center and was once second largest city in all the British Empire second only to London and was both the social and geographical center of the original Thirteen American Colonies. It is often thought to be the city where many of the ideas originated and subsequent actions took place, starting the American Revolution, leading to American Independence from Britain. There is no doubt that Philadelphia indeed played a pivotal role in early American history and in fact was the temporary capital of brand new nation from 1790 until 1800 at which time the capital was move permanently to Washington DC.
